COUNTRY STYLE TURKEY PATTIES

  • Non-Stick Spray
  • 1 slightly beaten egg white
  • 1/4 c finely chopped onion
  • 1/8 c finely chopped fresh apple
  • 3TB quick-cooking oats
  • 2TB snipped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 t sea salt
  • 1/2 t ground sage
  • 1/4 t ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 t pepper
  • dash of red pepper
  • 1/2 lb lean ground turkey BREAST

Method

    1. Spray a cold 10" skillet with non stick spray and set aside
    2. In a medium bowl combine egg white, onion, apple, oats, parsley, sea salt, sage, nutmeg, pepper and red pepper.
    3. Add ground turkey BREAST.
    4. Mix well.
    5. Shape mixture into eight 2" wide patties.
    6. Preheat the prepared skillet over med heat.
    7. Place patties in the skillet over med. heat.
    8. Cook for 10- 12 mins. or until meat is no longer pink and juices run clear, turning once. Drain off fat.
